To promote campus safety and emergency preparedness, Shri Bhumika Nursing College organized a Fire Safety Awareness Programme in collaboration with the Valpoi Fire Station. Students and faculty participated enthusiastically in the educational session conducted by experienced fire safety officers.

The programme included detailed demonstrations on the proper use of fire extinguishers, emergency evacuation procedures, and preventive measures to minimize fire hazards. Participants also gained valuable knowledge about responding effectively during emergencies in hospitals, educational institutions, and public places.

The event successfully enhanced awareness regarding fire safety and disaster management while strengthening students’ confidence in handling emergency situations. It reinforced the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and responsibility in healthcare settings.
